Days of Decay

Days of Decay is a third-person survival RPG where you play a man with amnesia who wakes up half-clothed in the middle of nowhere. Your first job is to find food and shelter, otherwise, it won't take you long to start feeling the effects of cold and hunger.

With your left thumb, you can control the movements of your character, who you can move freely around the levels. Meanwhile, with your right thumb, you can interact with all the elements you see around the level, activate stealth mode, and attack. Your character can collect items from the ground, cut down trees, carve stone, etc. You can also forge all sorts of tools, like axes, picks, shovels, torches, and crowbars.

One of the most important aspects of Days of Decay is, precisely, collecting resources and creating all sorts of objects. From nature, you can get wood, jute, stone, meat, vegetables, etc. All these elements let you create tools, though they also give you the possibility to build a shelter with doors, walls, floors, traps, and much more. You even have to build a bed and a well, so your character can sleep and stay hydrated.

As in other games like this, the settings in Days of Decay are connected over an enormous map. Traveling to each region of the map will cost you a lot of energy points, but this is the only way you can discover some of the most interesting places in the game. Like this, you can find secret military bases, abandoned cities, and much more. And, in each region, you can find resources exclusive to that area.

Days of Decay is an excellent survival RPG that manages to improve upon the already terrific formula of Last Day on Earth to offer a similar game experience but with even better graphics.
